Sunday, January 8

At 11am we were met at the hotel by our guide Mario and a driver. We had asked to do a "Grafitti Tour", suggested by a couple of people from the ship. Mario was extremely knowledgeable and did a fantastic job of showing us a wide array of different types of graffiti, in several different neighborhoods. It was the perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon. We even got to see 20 block flea market and sample some sausages grilled right in front of us, delicious!

At 8:30pm we headed to the airport for our trek home. The Buenos Aires International Airport was a zoo, the most disorganized one we'd seen in a long time. We finally made it to the plane where we had a quick bite to eat and then went to sleep. 8 and a half hours later we were in Miami.  We had a short layover, then boarded the 5 and a half hour flight to San Francisco. We slept quite a bit and the flights went relatively quickly (though the SF flight had lots of turbulence).
