Nils met us at the hotel for a 7:30 breakfast. Caught a cab to the boat marina where we rented a 25 foot power boat. Weather was fantastic. Headed northwest for a while into the Stockholm Archipelago, then back towards Stockholm's City Center.
We stopped for lunch on a small island about 10 minutes prior to Stockholm. While we were there, our friend Brenden texted from the End Up (a club back in SF), very funny contrast. After lunch we continued into Stockholm where we picked up Nils' brother Per and his two kids, Ivar and Victor. The five of us toured the city for a while. The city is very beautiful and it was a gorgeous, sunny day.
Around 3pm we dropped off Per and the kids and picked up Jan and Loraine at a waterfront dock. Then we tooled around for a bit (we found that the boat would hit 37 knots), then back to the marina where we had a couple of drinks. We took a cab back to the hotel. Then we napped and had a light dinner. Later we went out to a bar where it turned out to be a "Pool Party" night (!), with squirt guns all around. Strange. After a short while we went back to the hotel and had a nightcap in the hotel lobby, which was very busy.
