Friday - July 30 - At Sea
We all had breakfast on the Lido Deck, which is set up as a series of buffet stations with all types of food that's open pretty much 24 hours a day. It was great to be able to get food any time you wanted in a very comfortable space. Rick, Pete and Kevin had spa treatments during the day. Randy, Jason and Alex tried out the hot tub on our deck, Rick and Kevin joined us after their spa treatments. At 7pm we went up to the Lido Pool for the Dog Tag Party. It's an Atlantis tradition where everyone is given a dog tag with the name and date of the cruise, and then red, yellow and green stickers to put on them. Green means available, red means taken and yellow means "buy me a drink and we'll talk". It was lots of fun.
After dinner we met up in the Northern Lights night club on Deck 1 for a leather themed party. Afterwards we headed back up to the Lido Pool area for the Kit Kat Klub party, whose apparel theme is "anything goes". Rick headed down to the room after a bit and later on Jason led us on a tour of D-Deck where we lounged in one of the cabanas for a bit before heading back to the dance floor. There, to our surprise, we found Rick, dancing away, Spellbound on the dance floor. After that we headed down to the room for some much needed sleep.
Saturday - July 31 - Tallinn, Estonia
After the late night before, we all had a bit of a slow start, but we made it up to breakfast and off the boat right after we docked. Rick led us as we explored the town, walking down the narrow streets and winding our way up the hillside.
After walking down the steps at the far end of town, we looped around and found a cute sidewalk cafe where we sat under an umbrella, had lunch, and watched the town go by. The presence of the boat was definitely having an impact as about a quarter of the guys we saw were obviously from the Eurodam. After lunch we went across the street and bought some really tasty chocolates, then walked back to the boat.
In the room we ordered three pizzas and some wine, hung out with Jason & Alex listening to John Flemming on the stereo. Then we watched Legally Blond, made a loop around the boat to see what was going on, then headed back to the room and called it an early night.
