Tahiti 2009 - Taha'a and Bora Bora

4:30pm ride to the airport. Crazy driver, went on and on about tips. Quick flight to LAX, navigated through airport and security (what a zoo!). Hung out in the lounge. Boarded Air Tahiti flight at 10pm. First Class was just us and two other gay guys, on their way to Bora Bora for their wedding. Slept pretty much all the way there. Two and a half hour layover, 45 minute flight to Raitea, then a 30 minute boat ride to Le Taha'a, resort on a small motu (portion of the outer reef with palms on it).

Wonderful overwater bungalow looking out at the island of Taha'a (the vanilla island). Got some sun on the deck, then headed to the pool to relax. After lunch went back to bungalow for a nap. Learned that Randy + 12 minutes without sunblock = sun-burn, not base tan! Ouch! Had dinner in the main restaurant, overlooking the lagoon.
