Diving in Fiji - 2008

The morning dive site was back at Jim's Alley. We decided to skip it and sleep in, the people who did it said it was better than yesterday. After breakfast the boat headed back to port and everyone cleaned their dive gear and set them out to dry.

We took apart the camera gear and packed it up, then lounged outside in the breeze. Most of the boat went in to Suva for "suvaneirs". Had cocktail party on board at 5:30, then we all took cabs into Suva to Tico's floating restaurant. Tasty food. Back on the boat the Russians were having a party on the Aggressor III. Decided to steer clear for safety.

Woke up, had light breakfast, gear was unloaded from boat. Had a bit of an issue with transportation back to Nadi, bus was way too small. Randy pushed and two cabs were added to take 6 of us. 3 hour ride back to the Westin in Nadi. Great hotel, nice ocean view room. Everyone hung out by the ocean and pool all afternoon. After dinner went to airport and boarded flight to LAX.

What a great week! We had a big group of friends in a nice warm tropical location with a great crew and boat. Can't ask for much better. Now, where are we diving next?
