First morning dive at Kansas, no current, very nice site. Lots of soft coral flowing with the surge on top. Second dive was at Keenan's. After lunch we skipped the third dive which was at a new location that they were checking out. Several people thought it was their favorite dive so far. Later in the day we took a vote and named the site Grimace's Grotto, in honor of Joel, The Grimace.
The later afternoon dive was at South Wall. Rick was hunting octopus, so several of us followed him. Saw big sandy area between coral, tons of life. Saw some hard rain on the surface, sounded cool. Weather got worse, so we didn't have a night dive. Sat on the top deck, watched the lightning.
