Up early, had breakfast in the hotel, headed out in the car to the "Kingdom of Crystal" where there are a large number of glass factories that do handmade glass. Started to rain. Stopped at a couple of glassworks. Interesting to watch; glass displays were a bit weak.
        • Kalmar Castle

        Drove down to Kalmar, saw the castle. Walked into town and back to the car. Big tower turned out to be office building.  Headed back West, stopped at two more glassworks.

        Napped at the hotel, then went down the street for dinner at a Thai restaurant. Near the end of dinner a crazy, distinguished looking, (drunk) old guy sat down and chatted us up. The waiter and one of the guy's friends finally steered him towards the door. Very weird. Had a nightcap back at the hotel. Watched "The Last Mimzy", which turned out to be a fun movie.
