This morning we slept in. Then we bought "Stockholm Cards" for the local museums and headed into the city center. Took a tram to Vasa museum. It's a huge salvaged ship in great condition. It sank over 300 years ago on it's maiden voyage. Turns out the King had ordered the architect to add a second deck of cannons, and the extra weight made it top-heavy so the first gust of wind flipped it over and it sank in full view of the city!

Saw the aftermath of a car crash (car vs. telephone pole), had a light lunch, then went to Modern art museum. Our balloon ride was cancelled due to weather. Took a ferry back to the hotel.

Nils met us at 7:30pm at the hotel. We went into town to a trendy restaurant for dinner. Met Jonas and Loraine there. Had a very fun and animated dinner.  Walked around looking for a bar for a drink, Rïck found a penguin in a store window. Ended up at an outdoor place near "the mushroom" where we had a fun time.  Cabbed back to hotel, said goodbye to Nils, thanked him very much for being such a great host in Stockholm.
