We left the hotel just after 9am and walked out through a much quieter Bari Gotic. When we powered up Linguo and set it for the airport, 7 miles away, it said it would take about 4 hours! After a little bit of head scratching we figured out it was still set to 'pedestrian' mode from the other day; it thought we were going to walk to the airport! Changing the setting corrected the travel time to 10 minutes. Phew!
We had an hour and a half flight to Munich, a two hour layover and then an 11 hour flight home. The seats on the plane were Lufthansas newest, with a big 10" video-on-demand screen and a seat that folded flat for sleeping. We both got about 4 hours sleep on the way, and watched The Devil Wears Prada, which we both liked.
A quick limo ride and we were home. Yay! It's always nice to be home at the end of a trip!
We had such a great time and saw so many amazing places on this trip. We'll definitely be heading back to Europe sometime soon; maybe Paris and Prague next time?
