Another fantastic week of diving on an Aggressor! Definitely right at the top of all of the live-aboards in the world.

We're booked for a trip on the Palau Aggressor in December, can't wait!

Camera Gear

Randy used a Nikon D200 in a Hugyfot housing, with a pair of Nikon SB-800 strobes in Fantasea housings. This was a new housing for Randy (it arrived 2 days before we left for the trip!) and was absolutely phenomenal underwater. (D200 / Hugyfot Page)

Rick used a Canon S-80 in a Canon housing, the same one he used in the Galapagos.

Between the two of us we took about 2800 pictures(!). Aperture running on a 17" MacBook Pro made for a totally painless selection/editing process. We chose pictures as we reviewed them, usually adjusting them on the spot since it was so easy and fast. We boarded the flight home with a selection of 150 edited pictures and the web pages mostly complete. Try that with any other software/hardware combination!

Scuba Gear

On this trip we used Uwatec Smart Tec dive computers (with Mac based JTrak for downloading dives), ScubaPro regulators, Seaquest Pro QD+ BCs, Henderson Hyperstretch 3mm wetsuits and ScubaPro fins. For this trip we used ReefNet H2YO underwater noisemakers instead of tank bangers; they were much nicer and less obtrusive.
