Lake Mohave is located just below the Hoover Dam on the Colorado river.
Last September we made plans with our friends Maia and Kevin from San Diego to go out on a house boat for a few days. It seemed like the day would never arrive, but finally, it was time to go on the house boat! We took a flight to Las Vegas and drove about an hour South to the Cottonwood Cove Marina. Maia and Kevin were already waiting there for us. After loading all of our supplies aboard we headed out. Kevin took the Jet-Ski ahead and found a great cove for us to tie up in, Castle Cove.
We spent the next four days relaxing, drinking, staying out of the 105+ heat, water skiing and exploring. You can take a look at some of what we did by following the links below:
