The three main roads for the layout are Santa Fe, Union Pacific and Southern Pacific.
All of the engines on the layout have command control modules in them. Most of the modifications were done by me using Digitrax and Wangrow modules, though some of my newer engines have 'drop-in' modules from Digitrax (which are _way_ easier).
I'm a big fan of diesel engines, with only a few steamers. Whenever a new diesel engine comes out I'm compelled to make a trip to my local dealer...
